I really like this idea. After all, what is the point of a whole street of people all owning a lawnmower that they only use a few times a year? Etc etc. Collaborative consumption is the way forward. I guess the whole thing is rather dependent on trust though. But could this be a way of building trust in communities? It’s a shame I don’t really own very many useful things to lend to people.
